Over six months, we met with residents of Lewisham Homes Merrydown Independent Living Scheme every Monday morning to share tea, coffee, stories, cake, precious objects, skills, and jokes.

 

Over the months we made bird feeders, clay candle holders, beeswax candles, decorations, scented candles, collages and drawings.

 

We watched the birds, planted bulbs and herbs, listened to music and we danced. All of this was brought together in a film, The Merrydowners, made collectively, which was premiered at Meet Me at the Albany's movie club.
